Exhibition detail
This photography exhibition showcases outstanding work from rangatahi at participating kura in our Kiritai programme.
Kiritai invites students from kura across Tāmaki Makaurau to explore their creativity through a series of artist-led workshops on storytelling, photography and movement. In this special exhibition, see a selection of artworks from ākonga created in response to this year’s theme: ‘Ko au te taiao, ko te taiao ko au’ (I am the environment, and the environment is me).
The theme explores ancestral connection, belonging and identity, inviting rangatahi to reflect on their own unique perspective and relationship to their environment.
