About the contributors
Greg Moyle
Greg Moyle’s interest in art began early at Mount Albert Grammar School where he was encouraged by his art teacher, sculptor Arnold Manaaki Wilson (Ngāi Tūhoe). Later, while working as an accountant, Greg started buying pieces of New Zealand art, amassing a large collection which today numbers more than 1000 artworks.
Alongside his interest in art, Greg has contributed to several local organisations and institutions further afield. As chair of the New Zealand War Memorial Trust, he helped lead the creation of the New Zealand Liberation Museum Te Arawhata at Le Quesnoy, France, which opened in 2023.
