Artwork Information

l budd’s the story of is a wry critique of the seriousness and pretensions of Conceptual art in the late 1960s. Budd places domestic objects in an arrangement that mimics the ‘look’ of Conceptual art. The relationship between these everyday items is in no way arbitrary; their re-use and transformation allows them to take on new meanings.
