Artwork Information
It was common for early photographic and publication companies in New Zealand to produce and distribute Christmas cards and merchandise. These Christmas cards often included views of rural or urban areas or documented events. The Foy Brothers’ Christmas and New Year's cards were advertised in the Thames Star, Volume XV, 12 December 1884, page 3.
