(typed, attached to mount, l.c.). Selwyn Court, 8 St Stephen's Avenue, 1863-67. Frederick Thatcher, architect.. Bishop Selwyn lived at different times at Waimate Mission House, at Hulme Court, at St John's College, at the Old Deanery, and finally at Bishopscourt now known as Selwyn Court. Selwyn Court consisted of a group of buildings - house, chapel, library and baptistry, the house highly original in have its entrance upstairs and its bedrooms down..
