W D Hammond
Rest Area Limbo Ledge

Artwork Detail
Mythical, other-worldly and gloriously indulgent describe the imagined histories of Bill Hammond’s paintings. These are landscapes populated by imaginary beings in which morphed bird and human forms punctuate a smoky blue landscape that time forgot. These figures are the sentinels – the custodians of this land who bear witness to a parallel but oddly out-of-time history.
