Archive Collection Detail
Established in 1855, Auckland’s John Leech Gallery transitioned from being predominantly a framers to a dealer gallery with a changing exhibition programme of historical and contemporary New Zealand art. With multiple locations and a number of owners over the years, the Archive consists of material from the 1960s until the mid-2000s. Files include correspondence with artists, exhibition ephemera, catalogues and photographs.
