Blanche Wormald (1910-2004) was a painter who attended Elam School of Art from 1925 until 1933. Studying under Archibald Fisher, William Wright, Ida Eise and John Weeks, she exhibited in the annual Auckland Society of Arts exhibitions during the 1930s and became a founding member of the Rutland Group in 1935. Wormald painted almost continuously until her death at age 93. The archive consists of media clippings, ephemera, a small number of art works and inward letters and cards.
