C.F. Goldie Sketchbook

C.F.Goldie, painter, studied at the Julian Academy in Paris and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. Well known for his portraits of Maori, he also taught art. The sketchbook of pencil drawings was given to Goldie's friend, Frank Pullen. It is dated by Goldie 1882-1920 and was deposited with the Gallery circa 1955 by Pullen's half-brother, Ernest Blair.
