Our Primary programmes are undergoing some changes which means that this programme will not be offered during Terms 1 and 2 2018.

Students will have the opportunity to investigate ways to talk about and make meaning from artworks through discussion and activities. They will walk away with strategies they can apply to help them engage with artworks within the classroom and independently.

Focusing on a selection of around five artworks, students will: explore and describe artworks as objects themselves; investigate the ways these objects convey the subject of the work; and consider how context impacts on these understandings (for senior students).

The programme is based in gallery spaces.

Age groups: Years 1–8
Available Monday – Friday during term time
