It is a bold, powerful, life-affirming, one-hour television documentary special that gives us unique insight into what it was really like at the forefront of the biggest disaster in recent New Zealand history and highlights the best in us. It is a moving tribute to the people of Christchurch.

Survivors, who were interviewed in the immediate aftermath of the February 2011 earthquake in Christchurch, share their stories of panic and heart-breaking loss, courage and miraculous survival, in a way that is truly inspiring and heroic.

Their raw and uncensored first-hand accounts form a gripping and intimate portrait of the day that changed their lives forever.
