On the third Friday of each month, we’re passing the mic to the people we work with to share stories from behind the scenes. This month, we’re talking conservation. You’ll hear from Paintings Conservator, Genevieve Silvester and Associate Professor, Dr Gretel Boswijk from the University of Auckland as they discuss the analysis, dating and condition of a small Netherlandish panel belonging to Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira.
Back Office is a casual affair – a half-hour, monthly programme hosted in the Members Lounge as part of the Gallery’s Friday Lates. Drop in after happy hour at our café and still make it to your Friday night destination. No bookings required.
