Our experienced kaiako and art educators will work with you to design an enriching visit for your ākonga, supporting critical thinking and creative responses, while achieving learning objectives across a range of disciplines.
We also offer two programmes designed and delivered to support your area of interest:

Inside Out

This programme introduces tertiary students to the resources available at the Gallery. Ākonga are introduced to the E H McCormick Research Library, Collection Archives and staff behind the scenes throughout the Gallery to cultivate relationships and develop skills in support of academic research, creative practice and career pathways.

Unravelling an Exhibition

This inquiry-based, discursive programme for tertiary students is focused on artistic and curatorial practice. Supported by the educator, ākonga will examine contexts, concepts, processes and approaches to materials throughout an exhibition, identifying unifying themes and ideas and examining curatorial approaches.

The Tertiary programmes are free, while entry to ticketed exhibitions is discounted to $10pp for booked education groups.
