French-born, New Zealand Artist, Louise Henderson emigrated to Christchurch in 1925 to join her husband, a New Zealander, and quickly established herself as a central figure in the local art scene. She was meticulous in keeping records. Her correspondence records her descriptions, thoughts and feelings about daily life as well as her progression as an artist.

Join us in talanoa, (conversation) for the closing weekend of Lousie Henderson: From Life with an intriguing line-up of artists working across various mediums who may, or may not call Aotearoa New Zealand home.
