The friendship between Ralph Hotere (Te Aupōuri) and Bill Culbert is considered one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most productive artistic partnerships. Spanning more than two decades, their collaboration produced a series of awe-inspiring and provocative installations, which maintain a sense of their respective practices, as well as honouring the creativity of each artist individually.
