Kimberley Gray (1947-2017) was a contemporary artist and secondary school teacher who studied at Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland from 1970-1974. Awarded the Elam prize for Sculpture in 1972, Gray is known for her innovative installations and performance works including: Time Wedge, 1971, Pendente Lite 1972, 1975 (Mildura Festival), her Auckland Art Gallery Project Programme, Within Structures, 1975 and Sweater, performed by Jim Allen at the Experimental Arts Foundation, Adelaide Festival of the Arts, 1976.
The Archive consists of visual documentation and art journals that include works on paper, performance notes and correspondence.
