Barr Archive on et al.

Art curators/ collectors Jim Barr and Mary Barr have corresponded with the artist collective Estate of L Budd, 'et al'. since the mid-1980s. They have written on the artists and jointly curated a survey show, abnormal mass delusions? at Govett Brewster Art Gallery, New Plymouth, in 2003. Et al. won the Walters Prize in 2004 and represented New Zealand at the Venice Biennale in 2005.

The Archive consists of letters, faxes and emails from et al. to Jim Barr and Mary Barr as well as postcards, business cards, adverts and enclosures some of which include or are artworks by Estate of L Budd, 'et al'. In addition there are artist books, press clippings, essays, notes, exhibition ephemera and catalogues.
