Julian Dashper (1960-2009) was a well-known New Zealand contemporary artist whose work explored in various media abstraction, conceptualism and minimalism. Trained at Elam School of Fine Art, University of Auckland, Dashper exhibited widely both in New Zealand and internationally. He held several artist residencies including at the Chinati Foundation, Texas in 2001.
This archive is a collection of 29 limited edition ‘vinyl’ records that Dashper made of his performances. Many were released on the occasion of an exhibition.
