Ilene Rosa Dakin (nee Stichbury) (1898-1991) was a Herne Bay artist who studied under Frank Wright. She is known for her watercolours recording Auckland's maritime history. The Ilene and Laurence Dakin Bequest has acquired many artworks for the Auckland Art Gallery.
The archive consists of letters, catalogues, ephemera, photos and written material pertaining to the artist and the Bequest.
