Jim Barr (b 1947) and Mary Barr (Mary Milroy) curated the touring retrospective exhibition, Philip Clairmont. This archive consists, in the main, of the press clippings, exhibition catalogues, ephemera and letters (2) that the Barrs collected as preparatory research material for the 1987 show, initially shown at the Sarjeant Gallery, Wanganui.
