Kate Newby (b 1979) is an Auckland-based installation artist. She has had several solo exhibitions and has exhibited internationally. When the developed Auckland Art Gallery reopened in September 2011, Newby's work I'm just like a pile of leaves was one of the commissioned installations. This archive consists of the project proposal, preparatory drawings, material samples and examples of the concrete floor and walls that formed part of the exhibited work.
