The NZSSPA presented artist talks to the public 1983-86. These talks were recorded and distributed by the Department of Education at the time. This archive consists of audio tapes and accompanying slides by 33 New Zealand artists, who each speak to an audience about their work for approximately 45 minutes. The cassette tapes have been digitised by the Research Library.
