2 boxes comprising 56 of Auburn's catalogues. Catalogues are from France, U.K. Holland, Italy, NZ and Germany and are of prints, maps, plans and rare books. Dr Walter Auburn (1906-1979) was a noted collector of old master prints. He held the position of Honorary Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Auckland City Art Gallery for many years. The Gallery was donated a large number of works from his and his wife, Lore Auburn's collection in 1981. The catalogues were used by Auburn to order from.
