Archive Collection Detail
Ron Brownson, Curator Auckland Art Gallery, completed a Masters thesis on New Zealand realist painter, Rita Angus (1908-1970) from the University of Auckland in 1977. This archive of research material includes cassette tapes and notes taken from interviews and correspondence with Angus' friends and family. In addition, there are over three hundred black and white photographs and catalogue cards of Angus art works.
