Overview

Trained at Ilam School of Fine Arts, Dick Frizzell worked in advertising for many years and it is through this that he gained his appreciation for the advertising characters he uses in his work. His lithograph 'Mickey to Tiki' has now become a best selling print in New Zealand portraying Mickey Mouse changing in stages to a Tiki.

Join Dick for his response to 20th century advertising and its influence on his work.
