Auckland Festival of Photography 2012: Talking Culture Sunday Series

Ron Brownson, Senior Curator New Zealand and Pacific art at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki speaks on Pacific camerawork.

Thomas Andrew was New Zealand's first offshore photographer, while Greg Semu is a recent expatriate. Much has happened to Pacific photography in the century that separates their careers.

Ron will overview key Pacific practitioners, including Janet Lilo, Edith Amituanai, Tanu Gago, Shigeyuki Kihara and Jeremy Leatinu'u.
