A day spent exploring the Gallery with your family can be heaps of fun. Bring the kids and go on an adventure to track down your favourite artworks, try your own hand at artmaking, read books relating to current exhibitions or set off around our many galleries with one of our free Gallery Games. Our family guide can help you make the most of your visit.
Spend some time looking at the work in our exhibition spaces, then stop by our Todd Foundation Creative Learning Centre to take part in a range of hands-on activities. It's a space we’ve designed with kids, for kids, to capture imaginations.
When you’re ready for a break, take a wander through neighbouring Albert Park or refuel with a snack in our café. If you prefer, bring your own food to enjoy in our amphitheatre.
Drop in on Saturday afternoons to take part in free creative activities designed for the whole family. Join us any time between 1–3pm and stay for as long – or as short – as you want.
If your visit has sparked your child’s imagination, you might like to book him or her into one of our holiday workshops. Our skilled educators will introduce materials and techniques inspired by artworks currently on display. We offer creative sessions for children aged 5, 6–8 and 9–13.
