Overview

Located between Albert Park and Queen Street, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is one of the newest - and oldest - events venues in the city. From the modern, light-filled North Atrium to the elegant Lower Grey Gallery, sophisticated Mackelvie Gallery and sun-lit East Terrace, the building blends classic Victorian style with 21st-century architecture.

Hold an event at the Gallery and welcome your guests through majestic kauri columns that stretch high above the city streets. Invite them into the delicate surrounds of the Lower Grey Gallery or, perhaps, the luxuriant tones of the Mackelvie Gallery. Serve drinks and canapés as you watch the sun set from the East Terrace or head to the crisp interior of the North Atrium for dinner, speeches and dancing. Whether a product launch, awards ceremony, wedding or gala dinner, you'll find we offer extraordinary settings for special occasions.

The gallery has three exclusive caterers: Dawsons CateringUrban Gourmet and Pullman Hotel. All provide a superior level of service, fitting for such an environment, and are trained in the careful service of food & beverage around precious artworks. They can tailor a unique menu to suit your requirements and budget.
