• “My father Rex Fairburn, who got to know Lucy Carrington Wertheim in London in the early 1930s, was instrumental in arranging for her gift of the Wertheim collection to the Auckland Art Gallery. I would be most interested to talk with any of her descendants about her wonderful generosity.

• “as a great grand-daughter of lucy wertheim i am fascinated and surrounded still by art she collected that ended up with my mother and my family ---- do you have a complete list with images of the works she donated. and particularly the work of kenneth hall.
