The Auckland Art Gallery's publication of exhibition catalogues
began in earnest after the arrival of Peter Tomory as Director of
the Gallery in 1956. Catalogues from 1954 to 1969 are available as
a digital resource. To view, select from the list of
exhibition catalogues below.

The Gallery Quarterly journal is a rich resource of historic
information about the Gallery. Initiated by Peter Tomory, it was
