Stardome and its team have been sharing a love of space from its premises in Auckland’s One Tree Hill Domain since 1967.  A place of exploration, research and sharing of knowledge, Stardome has been regularly open for public viewing evenings and daytime visits for school trips ever since.

See the Universe recreated in front of your eyes from the comfort of your reclining seat inside the Planetarium theatre. Incredible digital projections of stars and planets come to life in beautiful clarity on the giant domed screen above you.

Stardome's Planetarium shows run every night of the week except Mondays, and regularly change so there’s always something new to see. Choose from a huge range of topics including the Night Sky, Astronauts, Black Holes and much more. Evening shows include telescope viewing (weather permitting).
