Cultured Conversations is a digital series produced by Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. Exploring issues and ideas from the cultural sector in Aotearoa New Zealand, this series is hosted by Gallery Director, Kirsten Lacy, and invites exceptional leaders from arts, philanthropy, economics and politics to discuss topical issues facing the sector today. Rich with diverse voices and we hope inspirational ideas, ‘Cultured Conversations’ gives us all the chance to hear from proven leaders engaged in the issues that face our cultural communities.

In this episode, we welcome Helen Carroll Curator of the Wesfarmers Collection of Australian Art and director of the philanthropic arm of WesFarmers. Helen has been in the business for 30 years, stewarding the Wesfarmers’ Arts sponsorship programme which provides $3 million annually to the performing and visual arts in Western Australia.
