Bring your whole family for a creative session inspired by work in the collection.

Drop-in sessions


Create art together in sessions inspired by art in the collection. Drop in and stay as long as you like.

There is no need to book, although participation is limited by space. Sessions are designed for children aged 4 and up. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturdays 1 - 3pm
Check exact location with the front desk when you arrive
Sessions are free of charge


The Story Corner is a new space in the Gallery for families to enjoy books by indigenous authors from Australia as well as writers from Aotearoa and around the Pacific.

The Story Corner presents a series of author readings and events for the whole family to celebrate My Country and the other exhibitions on display at the Gallery throughout autumn. All events are free and no booking is required.
