Overview

Located on the mezzanine level of the Gallery, the Todd Foundation Creative Learning Centre is open daily 10am-5pm and is free to visit.

Explore how works of art come into being - how artists observe and explain the world that we know and imagine.

Each year, a New Zealand artist is commissioned to create a new year-long installation for Auckland Art Gallery's Creative Learning Centre. The new installation, opening 23 November is by Sean Kerr, What's It Doing?.

In 2011/12, the commissioned artist was Reuben Paterson and in 2012/13 the artist was Tiffany Singh.
