Legacies
Legacies are vital for the future of Auckland Art Gallery
Toi o Tāmaki.

Overview
With your help we can ensure the future of the Auckland
Art Gallery Collection and the continued success of the
Gallery.
The Auckland Art Gallery exists thanks to the generous gifts of
Sir George Grey, Governor of New Zealand and James Tannock
Mackelvie, who donated works of art as well as funds to build the
Gallery.
Today, legacies continue to make their mark on the Auckland Art
Gallery - helping us to acquire new works for the Collection;
enabling the conservation team to prepare works for display and
making the galleries accessible to more visitors.
You could help secure the Auckland Art Gallery's future with a
legacy of art, cash, shares or property. If you are considering
leaving a gift to the Gallery in your will, we would welcome the
opportunity to discuss this with you.
Please contact us to discuss this further.
