Biography
Bridget Reweti’s lens-based practice explores Māori landscape narratives and perspectives of people and place, often through a close investigation of the personal, natural, cultural and historical knowledge that site holds.

She holds a Bachelor of Māori Visual Arts and Master of Māori Visual Arts from Massey University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies from Victoria University. She is a member of Mata Aho Collective, co-editor of *ATE: Journal of Māori Art* and co-chair of Enjoy Contemporary Art Space. Reweti is the 2020 Frances Hodgkins Fellow.
